So I have been applying for scholarships which can go a long ways IF you are chosen for it. Which I have no luck at, So I was wondering is there any other way to pay for college. I know I can get a job but that is unlikely :/. Advice? :what:

Canīt you get any help-money from your parents?

I could but they will go only to a specific amount then stop. Besides that they are more interested in buying a house for my old grandparents and themselves then paying for college.

Have you applied for financial aid? There should be several options available to you to help you pay for your college education. You need to speak with an advisor/enrollment counselor at the school you're interested in so they can help you explore all options. I'm currently paying for Uni with private loans, financial aid, and grants. I am already in debt for my first year... And debt is really something you want to avoid.

There are a few ways that you can obtain funds to help fund your education and they range from scholarships and grants, private student loans and working a summer job.

Private student loans are useful in that it helps supplement funds by paying for the remainder of tuition, room and board cost along with textbooks, supplies and daily needs.

Also, you should check your local area for annual scholarships that may apply to you. These scholarships can range from 10 dollars to paying for your full tuition. Remember, that you should apply for all eligible scholarships and grants that apply to you because each award will be added to your financial aid package, which could pay for all your expenses.

Finally, once you have done all the leg work for applying for scholarships, grants and student loans, it would be helpful to get a summer job. Having a summer job prior to college will prepare you for dealing with others and having responsibility. Also lastly you can work from home by doing online paid surveys and this can be of great assistance. I also get free coupons and discounts/get paid when i shop from the retailer there.

Sad as it is, it is actually not possible to work your way through college (99% of them) with the average job somebody that age can get. In fact, usually you can't even make enough to cover room+board. So, basically it's finding a source to borrow a ton of money from, so student loans and financial aid, as mentioned above.

Student loans....ugh. Hate them, but they help as a last resort.
