I love Canada. I was in Montreal, Quebec once. It was really nice. The entire city is beautiful. I was also about 50 miles north of the Minnesotan boarder in Ontario. The wilderness was really cool. I don't know anything that Canada could be ripped on for except for funny-ass accents! :P

But hey, I have one. i do live in Minnesota after all.

I was quite indifferent to Canada until recently. I thought it was a boring land with not much to see etc. But recently I learned about free healthcare, and this stereotype about people there being "very" kind.

I think it is a nice place. "Very" nice.

In some places, you have a six month wait to see the doctor. That's a terrible system.

And you don't go broke here unless you were irresponsible and didn't buy health insurance. And American healthcare quality is superior. International leaders from all over come here when the need a operation.

When did Bush say we needed to go into Iraq for revenge? Could I have some evidence here? His reasoning wasn't for revenge, it was to weaken a terrorist haven.

Umm, yes, I'm against communism as much as I am against the Nazis, as I would be against any group who advocated taking away freedom of speech, religion and the press, insituting the most extreme form of income inequality, and willing to kill to do it. I don't know how you can think that's good: It's immoral, unethical, unfair, and vastly reduces productivity. The only people who could possibly gain from Communism are the poorest of the poorest of the poor and those who become the leaders of the new order.

It's industry would get turned to the state, wealth will be redistributed, and equal education will be available to everyone, not just the rich people, health care would be free (paid from the taxes of the citizens, just like in UK), and probably gun laws would be regulated so that you cannot legally own a minigun or an automatic weapon.

The problem is, communists were imprisoned just because they were communists, the US authorities broke the right of freedom of speech by imprisoning them. What wrong did the US communists do to the US? Did they kill people? No. Did they burn buildings? No. About Nazis, yes they are imprisoned in some countries because of atrocities they committed in those countries, but not the US where a man went to court in a full-Nazi uniform, and Nazis there have tattooed swastikas on their heads or necks.

No. A Stalinist society prohibits freedom of speech. Communism is dating from Marxism, made by Karl Marx, and in his novels, he did not say that freedom of speech should be prohibited. The state is there for the people, it belongs to the people. People work for the state, and the state works for them, that's how you roughly put it.

Is that a valid reason to infringe their freedom? So just because I do not like the regime means I should get locked in a cell indefinitely?

First they came for the communists,
and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a communist.

Then they came for the socialists,
and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a socialist.

Then they came for the trade unionists,

So a true communist society has elections, then?

If it's impossible to own property and the state controls everything I cannot imagine a scenario where the leaders wouldn't abuse their power and infringe on freedom of speech. It's my American instinct.

Neo-Nazis then.

But why not at least try to be perfect, even though I will probably fail? Why not strive to be better.

Because if it does fail, which it will, it'll be a disaster!

Who says it is impossible on a personal level?

If you want to redistribute your wealth and enchorage others to voluntarilly to do so, fine. But don't force big government on people.

How can I as an individual cause a disaster, especially if many do not support communism in Serbia?

That is what I was planning to do.

Okay, fine. Doing charitable activity is perfectly acceptable.

because we was at cold war with Russia.... abd America, like Britian hated communists and many still do.

we was at cold war with Russia?

That gives you no right to infringe someone's civil liberties, the only time I could see that being fair would be during a state of total war

No, we weren't expecting the mother of all war, the whole point of mutually assured destruction was that both sides wouldn't launch their nuclear arsenals.

You always criticize the soviet union for there lack of freedom yet you praise the repression of British and American citizens as necessary, that's double standards

we were* ... also you said it was needed but then you say it was bad at the time?

The Defcon level never went above 2, and that was only as a result of some stupid USAF officer, nearly everyone in power for Britain/usa/USSR knew that the chance of war was very low, hence why proxy wars and espionage was popular.

Our Government never even gave localized control of nuclear weapons. It wasn't needed at the time to arrest people without a charge, you can't simply shoot away an idea

Unfortunately, communism demands perfection, and human nature isn't perfect. That's why we will never have real communism, only the one mixed with fascist and Nazi beliefs. You know now what communism exactly is.

THANK YOU.

I am trying to tell this since my first day here: Human race is not yet mature to adopt communism.
