View Full Version : Is it better if I ask her when she is available to go out with me?

I asked the girl I like, She smiled, said yes and started to walk closer to me. But when I tried to organise a date for the date the next day, she came up with excuses to say no (she has a party, she is busy and her friend said that she watched all movies which are out in the cinemas-she also agreed with her friend but had a smile on her face when saying it).
So is it better for me to ask her when she is available to go out with me. Or does it look bad if I do this.

you are honestly coming off as desperate now. but i'd ask her when she isnt busy. your choice though.

You could just wait until she asks you, that way you aren't coming off as desperate and you don't have to do the planning. If you want to wait though, you could also do that but don't do it immediately because that's just weird, give it awhile at least.

How am I desperate. Its the one thing I try to avoid
It seems like she is actually running away from me because when she saw me and was with her friend she walked fast away from me and her friend and looked like she was going to the canteen. At this time is when I tried to give a date to meet which she said she was busy or going to a birthday party. Her friend said she had watched all movies out in the cinemas already and she agreed to what she said with a smile. I'm just wondering why she is doing this? What does it mean? Is she playing hard to get?

Maybe you can simply say: "I understand that your schedule is busy and I'd love to hang out with you -- please call [or email -- FaceBook] me when you think is a good time for you." If she doesn't respond back to you -- it appears that something made her change her mind. The more you pursue it -- the higher likelihood things will go south between you 2.
