What's a healthy weight range for a 5'2" Female?

(Not sure if this is the right section or not.)

It depends on a lot more than just weight, but using the BMI calculator, 100-135 seems like a "good" weight range.

Yes I know there are a lot more factors, but I was just curious.

I honestly don't think that would be the best use of a doctors time. Maybe that's something you'd ask at the end if you were going for something else.

You can always try a BMI Calculator http://www.nhlbi.nih.gov/guidelines/obesity/BMI/bmicalc.htm

You do need to factor in things like muscle. If you intend to weight yourself before check to see if you're near/on your menstrual cycle as this can throw your weight a little off and say you're heavier/lighter than you truly are.

See, I'm not a 5'2" female lol. I was asking in a more curious manner.

It really depends on your build, honestly.

I'm 5'0 - 5'1, and I have a slightly larger build + muscle, so even if I have a higher BMI, it doesn't look it. My mom on the other hand is 5'8, and she has a smaller build, and she and I have similar weights, despite a 7 inch height difference.

Theoretically, going by a BMI chart, for someone 5'2, 101 - 136 is considered healthy - how being 101lbs isn't necessarily healthy - it's good to be more in the middle, if you go by BMI. But it's really a load of crap imo. It's a good guide, but if you have muscle, you'll obviously weigh more, even if you don't look it. At my height, I could be 95 pounds and still be at a healthy weight - but let's be real that's not really healthy for any teenager.

Don't sweat on weight to much, honestly. If you wanna get toned and stuff, do it. If you wanna start exercising a little, do it. But do it for yourself, and don't overdo it.

(I do realize you're just curious and not female, and I mean you in general, plural. I just like to give shitty detail no one cares about :P )
