Old crushes, just not sure anymore.

So I was going through an instagram of one of my old crushes. Came across this half naked picture of him and another guy I used to like in middle school. They were just hanging out on a boat being buds.

I have gotten over them since middle school but I remember why I used to like them and I just sort of got overwhelmed. It just feels like every guy I have ever liked turned out to be a straight normal guy.

I was also reading a study yesterday that said only like 5% of people in the U.S. are actually gay. I guess what I'm getting at is I just feel so alone and like I will never find anyone I can be happy with.

I agree -- don't give up you'll eventually find someone special. Maybe -- you can meet other GLBTQ teens via your GSA and through the friendships you may find your prince charming.

Sadly -- the 5% figure you gave is simply an estimate but I doubt it's that low since not very few people are surveyed and in today's society while people appear to be more out then they were decades ago [based on things my parents have seen in their lives] & society has this "downlow" mentality -- it seems weird the numbers got cut in half during this time. Maybe this (http://gaylife.about.com/b/2011/04/17/how-many-people-are-really-gay.htm) sums it up. It says 3.8% of Americans aren't straight but 8.2% have had same sex acts and 1 in 9 adults had attraction to the same sex [the last 2 numbers didn't classify themselves as GLBT. As the link says -- the numbers are likely flawed due to the methods used.

I can relate to how you feel. seems like all the guys that told me they were gay or bi have turned out to be str8. I haven't gave up looking and you shouldn't either.

Happen the same 2 me dude, I hope I will find a BF soon. I found one, but he is zillions miles away from me. And hurts not having him close, to hug and kiss him.
