So. iOS 7 Beta 1 has been released to people with developer accounts, and I got it for myself
My first impressions are that it looks very different, and for a beta it's especially stable. It's only crashed once on me so far. I have it on iPhone 5, so it's probably running the best it can, I have heard the animations are very laggy on the iPhone 4, and not as laggy on the 4S. Everything is very fluid for the most part, I do like that they switched to white as the primary background color. Now my main gripe is that the battery life is significantly worse BUT I am not complaining because as a beta it is to be expected. So yeah :)
Feel free to ask for screenshots of things if you'd like.
Edit: here's a screenshot of my home screen just so you can get a feel if you haven't seen it yet. http://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/06/17/ypuhy9er.jpg

Needs a little polishing and it'll be good. However, I'm a die hard Android user now.

Yep. It costs $99 per year and you have access to iOS betas and other stuff. There's also an illegitimate way of getting the beta on your phone, but I can't discuss that.

I really want it!!! But I can't because:
1. I have the 3GS (that's not compatible with iOS 7)
2. I have 2 compatible iPads, but the SDK isn't avaliable yet!
3. I am a registered Apple Developer (and have been for a few years), but I don't want to pay £60 ($99) for iOS 7!
I will probably wait until 'The Fall' and get it then!
Looks good though!

They also "borrowed" the flat feel from Windows Phone. It's kind of ironic because just a couple months ago Apple was pointing the lawsuit finger at Google :D

- Took flatness from Windows Phone
- Took multitasking from HTC Sense 4
- Took quick sharing from Android Beam via NFC
- Took Chrome's 'fancy animations'
- Animated Wallpapers originally launched on Android as "Live Wallpapers"
- Took Control Center from Samsung's Notification Toggles
iOS might look nice but there really isn't anything new or original here.

A lot of IOS isn't new for example the muilty tasking is a complete rip off of the blackberry playbook which came out two years ago.

I like it yet hate it. I agree with Tweety to a certain extent, because it reminds me of the Samsung smart phones.
I have almost the same for my iPad, but I got it through other ways.
But aside from that, I'm a huge Apple supporter.

Eh to me it's not worth the upgrade.

I think Apple has just copied a lot of ideasfrom the android and windows phones, so im not particularly excited about it...

I'm looking forward to it very much. I think they've addressed most of the 'problems' with iOS 6 and below.
Also, I dislike anyone that runs the beta without a developer license; it's meant for testing if your app works with the latest OS, not simply to try the latest OS. But whatever..

+1 for this.
It's called a beta for a reason, and yet the public run it? How does that even work?
