Still rooting hard for the Heat. And I still think they can win. They haven't lost back to back all season. So if that's true, game 6 is theirs. Then you have game 7 here in Miami. They gotta make it go 7 anyway for the excitement you know.

major heat fan was at the rally last night i'm pretty sure they could take it here. and it's true they haven't lost back to back games since january. they got a really good home record so i think they could win game 6 and 7.

He's just upset Ray Allen left the Celtics for a better team. The Heat make it to the Finals while the Celtics didn't make it anywhere

No, I don't follow basketball.
However, when fans regurgitate all the past championships that their team has won - in a year that they were sub-par...it's kind of laughable.
The Celtics won 17 Championships according to that banner. How does that apply to the 2013 playoffs, or Finals series?
It doesn't, and it looks like a foolish attempt to justify your team's suckage. Hold on to and celebrate that 2008 (or whichever year you choose) championship tonight. The Heat or the Spurs will celebrate what's actually relevant later tonight.

I'm in this thread because I moderate this section. Simple enough.
And once again - your little banner has no relevancy to the 2013 Playoffs.
You're not even making a point about this series by posting it, which is what this thread is about.

Normally I wouldn't root for the Heat, but because Celtic doesn't like Georgia, I'm thinking about rooting for the Heat.
I love Georgia: The hot weather, mild winter, girls here are very attractive, beach on East coast and Florida beaches to the South, people are really, really nice... it's the biggest state East of the Mississippi, Atlanta is one of the newest most modern cities..... very diverse population: it's in the bible belt, yet Atlanta is really gay friendly, there's parts with true red necks and yet Atlanta is referred to the black Mecca.
I'd have to guess that you live in the middle or southern part of the state or just don't like hot weather.... It all makes sense now, you don't like the Heat because it refers to hot/heat/Heat.
I'm outta guesses. Should be a good game. I thought the Spurs had it locked up and even some Miami fans left the game, but they came back.
BTW Bosh is my favorite player on the Heat. I know he's not as good as Wade or Lebron, but he just seems quietly smooth out there.

Definitely agree on Duncan, he is awesome. But I think it's a sure thing that Lebron makes the HOF also...even if you don't like him.
It's a coin flip tonite. Heat have home court and the current best player in the game. I'm hoping that's enough.

Here's one disspointed Laker fan. We had a great lineup, Kobe, Nash, Gasul, Howard, and World War, but we just got a lot of injuries. For a while it looked like we might not even have enough players to put on the floor! And it looks like next season won't be any better, because we've given away like all our draft picks for the next millennia.
At least the Celtics didn't win :)

And Dwight Howard is only a 50/50 to return; personally, I think he's going to Houston! I hear Gasol's on the trade block, and if I were the Lakers, I'd trade him for some draft picks and a good player.
At least the Celtics will go farther than the Lakers next year :)

I've been hearing rumors lately that the Heat will pick up Greg Oden. I know the guy's knees are made out of gingerbread and he hasn't played since 2009, but I feel like its a low risk-high reward decision. If he stays healthy and can give the heat a couple of rebounds a game and some actual size down in the paint (not to mention Bosh will go back to powerforward) then that would help stop a lot of teams from exploiting their lack of size and rebounding like the pacers did in the conference finals.
