Birthday section?

How about a section where people could either post there birthday's or a famous persons birthday. I think that would be a good idea

Why are celebrity birthdays important? If so... post them in TWPR too, I guess.

I agree with Origami people already post in TWPR so it would be useless to have a section just for that.

I suggested an idea similar to this, due to the fact that most posts are just one-worders that added to post count and allowed spamming, but the suggestion was turned down pretty quickly. But yeah, TWPR is used for anything and everything off topic, and an entire section on just birthdays can just clog the site with unnecessary threads that could easily be performed in a VM or TWPR.

A lot of people, including myself, already do that for other members in The White Padded Room. I think a whole section for those kinds of threads would be kind of boring and they'd all just blend together and not get looked at. It's kind of nice seeing random birthday threads in TWPR.

Yeah its quite nice to see some Birthday threads in TWPR.

OP, you can always post in a diary or TWPR for Birthdays as Mike said an entire section for Birthdays would be a little much and honestly wouldn't be helpful. plus it would turn into a spam place as people would just go in and post "Happy Birthday" and that would be it, even if they have never heard of the person.

It would also take away from the nice feeling you get when you see a thread about someone's Birthday as it shows someone's cared enough to make a thread.
