so i have been doing some research on fruits and the nutrients they have, and I have found some really amazing stuff, such as the large amounts of vitamins A,C,E. So i just wanted to have a little talk about fruit and to hear (well read) your opinion on fruit.

p.s, I don't think any one hates fruit, of cores there will be people that will say '' I hate pineapples or tomatoes'' but I don't think they would hate all the other types of fruit.

Fruit is an essential part pf a balanced diet (as well, a tasty portion of it,)
It does pack many vitamins, minerals, and nutrients to help the human body.

Really? I think the best tasting fruits are Pineapples, Grapes, and Oranges. Apples don't have that great of a flavor.

You can survive off potatoes and milk, and a bit of oatmeal.
That contains every essential nutrient :D

It's more of a texture thing for me. I just really don't like that juicy, moist, soft, ugahsjdg texture.

you might be able to stay alive, but is that healthy? like for me, when ever i eat some fruit I have more energy and I can think clearer. when I mix things like milk and oatmeal my stomach doesn't feel the greatest.

Pretty much every fruit is important for a balanced diet. There are some fruits, that recently have been discovered to be super-fruits, like blueberries, pomegranates, and acai. Blueberries are full of antioxidants and nutrients that are suggested to help prevent diseases like cancer and Alzheimer's. Pomegranates also are full of antioxidants as well as acai berries.

you don't need meat to be strong. apes share 99% of our DNA. They are all so vegetarian and they are strong. This can work for humans toohttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I1q1DY9pFOc

I hate many fruits and some vegetables. I do because when I was a child I was forced to eat them. If I wasn't forced, I might learn to love it.

well first of all, they taste horrible raw. meat starts to taste good once it has been layered with seasoning and cooked in a way where it's not dry but juicy [kinda like how fruit is juicy] and then some people like to add A1 sauce to give it a bit more flavor.

besides, this thread is hear to talk about how amazing fruit is. Did you know that cucumbers and lemon purify the blood & that vitamin C is a natural antihistamine [all allergies pills are antihistamine]

I love my fruits and veggies.

While yes we are omnivores, our abilty to eat both plants and meat is mainly due to having to have survived on whatever we could find in the Stone Age. We were nomads and moved to a new place whenever the place we lived in ran out of edible plants and/or wild game.

Fruits and veggies are great. we can get plenty of the good stuff from it like vitamins A, B vitamins (biotin, folate, niacin, pantothenic acid, riboflavin, thiamine, vitamin B-6, and vitamin B-12), C, D, E, and K. I don't neccesarily like meat much other than chicken and liver.

there are plenty of fruits and veggies with high protein, although i don't neccesarily like beans.

here's a list of foods that are high in protein: http://www.livestrong.com/article/377711-list-of-fruits-and-vegetables-that-are-high-in-protein/

I'm a person who dosn't care for meat much other than hamburger, hotdogs, chicken and Liver. I don't care for foods with artificial sugar. I prefer my fruits and veggies. :)
And I find foods with artificial sugar aren't as appealing to me as fruit.

Also, fruit has sugars in it that dosn't need any extra help from the body to get where it is needed.
It also dosn't cause diabetes, which is crucial for me because it runs in my family.

At this point, i could probably pass off as a vegan.
