Okay, so when I say propaganda, I'm not talking specificly about government etc...
What I mean is that, even though I don't beleive in some big conspiracy or whatever, propaganda is everywhere.

I mean it as in, people are trying to control your life and how you think.
Everything is made for you to feel a certain way about it, and to make you act a certain way. everything on tv is filled with it, commercials everywhere, most of themnot only telling you to buy their product, but also to tell you how to live your life in a "perfect' way.

What do you guys think. is this propaganda serious?
My opinion: yes it is everywhere

Yeah. Now everything is about with who you associate yourself with. For example: I am a republican and you are a liberal, we cannot be friends, or I am a fan of FC Crvena Zvezda (Red Star), I cannot be friend with someone who is a fan of FC Partizan (Partisan, a rival club). I am a communist, but that does not mean I cannot be friends with non-communists. In fact many of my friends do not share my communist points of view. Well, this "propaganda" makes things like this happen.

true propaganda only exists in countries like north korea (there leaders told them that they found a unicorn lair:D) but yes propaganda does exist in mild harmless forms for example teeth whitening, it is seen bad to have bad teeth (i regularly have my teeth whiterned) and latest phones and computers

And that 'I am republican, so I cannot befriend a liberal' kind of nonsense and war propaganda. In Syria, one side is saying that the rebels are winning, while the other side is saying that government loyalists are winning. On Serbian television channels, B92 and RTS (PTC) you have tons of pro-government propaganda praising it. Some of politicians who are in the government even have lesser education then me (no elementary school), but have positions they are obviously neglecting.

propaganda exists in several places, but is still uncommon, I think the last time Europe used propaganda was ww2

What about the Soviet Union? It's European part covered almost half of Europe. And Serbia today, praising how everyone will be rich when we enter the EU. It's not like that, we need to fix our problems, not the EU. EU doesn't give a fuck about them, and does not want to fix them. They can just deny us membership.

I think the only good the EU has done, is fund Frances war in Mali and built a high tech train system in Turkey, it needs to change, and serbia shouldnt join at the moment unless your France or Germany it will not benefit you

The problem is, I don't think we will be able to join in four years even. The Kosovo problem is not getting solved for more then a decade and the internal problems are not getting solved. Even if we would join, due to corruption, we would have no benefits and would get kicked out in 5 years max.

The euro is in trouble at the moment, you should wait to see if that will fix itself, and why do you guys wanna join so much anyway?

Turkey aren't in the EU...
Exactly! I think its because they're joining? Its still stupid though

We get a rebate from the EU Which has given us about 5 billion pounds a year, if we leave then we'll never see that money again.

1) We'll have over 10 million pensioners coming back from Europe, more so than the number of immigrants leaving
2) We'll lose any influence on the world stage
3) Britain contributes the third highest amount of workers to Europe
4) We would have to get a free trade deal with each European country
5) We export more to Belgium than we do to china or Brazil

Actually we could just sign a free trade deal with the EU, just like the US is currently doing

What I want is Britain to have more of a say, able to stop EU decisions being put in the UK and we have little say in the EU and wont lose a lot, we should concentrate our energy on the USA and the Commonwealth

Why would they want to sign a free trade deal the moment we leave, that like asking to leave a car sharing group because you don't want to pay for pertrol and then ask to keep the car.

The commonwealth is dead in the water

I don't know why the government wants Serbia to join so badly without fixing the core problems.

Propaganda is always used and has never stopped... even if we don't notice it. I think as the normal humans and not the rulers, we don't really mind being 'brainwashed' by propaganda, as we just want to get on with our lives.
I think propaganda is okay in wartime if it can keep morale up.

Probably for the support and to look good to the Serbian public

I guess they need that, since the president has finished the Gravedigger Facculty with flying colors. But they are doing nothing whatsoever. While Tito was president, he was greeted by the by the US president whenever he would visit the US. Now our premier got greeted by the vice-doorman of the Congress after his last visit. We lost a lot of prestige.
