Of course many have questioned the iPhone.
But why do you need something that can carry e-mail and all that when you have that right at your own computer at the office and at home?
I think it is a basic waste of money if you have spent something on it.
Most of the bills from the first month had reached up to 600 dollars.
So why should the iPhone be that important?

Because not everyone can sit at a computer while on the train or something.. however I do agree it's a lot of money, but the technology is top-notch.

Yes but being top notch can also mean tech problems.
think about it. If you drop the phone it would probably go dead and be beyond repair.

^ ^ that maybe true but there is also something called a laptop but not everyone can get one of those can they?

It's all about convenience. Can a laptop fit in your pocket?

Yes but I just think it's a waste of money. It might be nice but to me possessions like that don't matter.

To me, the iPhone is just making theft much more convienient. "Oh, I stole his phone, his laptop and his iPod in like, one second". I would lose that thing in a heartbeat, and it is much harder to lose track of a laptop.

Not if you put it in a safe place. Of course it doesn make theft easier since it can have personal info on it.
My mom was thinking of getting one when she found out that you had to enter your social security number in it for it to work.
Plus it holds that number so if someone steals it they have access to your money.

I personally dont like i-phones, I dont like macs so thats probably why i hate it. blackberrys do the same as i-phones apart from the mp3 bit, the reason the i-phone/computer phones are handy is, a laptop normally needs to be connected to the internet in order to check mail etc. all you need for computer phones is a phone signal. There is this new thing called mobile broadband where you connect a usb modem to your laptop and it connects to your phone provider and uses the internet, its quite expensive and slow + 5 gb is the maximum download limit.

The keyboard is the worst thing ever. Also it took me like 15 minutes to work out how to add a contact!

True, the laptops are not as small as an iPhone. Also, can they get internet access anywhere and everywhere? (without buying a special card) No. But the iPhone can. Plus, laptops are way more expensive than the iPhone, new ones, at least.

None of us kids really need it, it's just new and neat and convenient, but the email thing would be convenient for an adult business person, if they don't have a laptop or want something smaller than a laptop. Notice that's how they advertised them.
