Okay, I'm in a major crisis right now. Major crisis!

Here's what happened. I was casually talking to this guy on Skype. We were talking about like cars and shit. All of a sudden, he asked if I wanted to swap dick pics. I gave a stern "Fuck no!" I thought he just forgot about it because it had been a good 5 minutes since I told him no. Well a few minutes after that 5 minutes had passed, I got a video. The video was of him wacking off for over 5 minutes. I of course freaked out and deleted it from Finder. (I'm a Mac user) There's a catch though. In order for something that was deleted from finder, it must also be deleted from the trash bin. I went to the trash bin next, and pressed delete. It told me this: "The operation can’t be completed because the item “Movie on T******* *** **** ** *****.mov” is in use."

How do I remove this illegal child pornography from my computer!? I mean my friends use this computer! My family does sometimes too!! What do I do!!? Idon't know what to do! Please help. :(

You have to close the video/process. Then go in an delete it. If you close the programs running it you shouldn't have trouble, but if it still doesn't work restart the computer and delete it before launching any programs.

If you don't have an open QuickTime that you can see, try just force killing all programs that you think might have something to do with it. Maybe even force quit skype and your web browser(making sure to save anything you might want to use later), and then try again.

Thanks guys. I got rid of it. Other than the fact that I had to look at the still video player over 10 times, *pukes* It's all good. This thread can be locked by one of the wonderful staff members on here. Again, thanks for all your help. :)

The trash will say that more than once, make sure to force quit whichever program is related to the file or simply restart the computer.

I will also add, if someone asks/talks about that subject, and then sends you a file (either a video, .gif or picture), do not open or download it.

It's also best to block that person.

Congratulations for not giving in. I'm proud of you for that.

Yeah, they're blocked. I was dumb, and didn't look at what I was downloading until it was downloaded. Thanks for the support. :)
