shes great, i really like her
we talk a lot, i mean like, every night we're online talkin,
i go to her house sometimes, hang out for a while
we've known each other for 5 months and she already calls me her best friend, she makes me feel great
i feel like she likes me, and i want to ask her out,
i guess the one thing that holds me back is we hang out with like, completely different people. we have a bunch of mutual friends, but her best friends and stuff, i dont talk to at all, we say hey to each other and thats really it,
it just feels weird cause theyre the rich preppy people, she really isnt but her friends are, and i feel like oihjgfeoelneiougfewhvf idk, but it bothers me.
what do you think?
p.s, asking her out and her sayin yeah is like my christmas wish this year

I think you might have that Merry Christmas you're hoping for!
If she already calls you her best friend, of you hang out together, spend time every night online then it's safe to say that she likes you, probably a lot. So, what's the problem here? Just invite her to do something a bit different, a movie? Pizza? Tell her she's your best friend, too.
I think a lot of people get hung up on terminology, like 'going out'. You can be in a relationship without necessarily making this grand proclamation that you're 'going out'. You're already in a relationship, a pretty nice one, just move it along a bit by doing more things and saying more about your feelings about her. With time, it won't seem like such a step to ask her formally to 'go out'. Take the preliminary steps now.

Well it sounds like you two have a chemistry together so I would go for it if I were you.
Plus with it being your Christmas wish this year it will be a very very very Merry Christmas for you this year! Santa must have come early for you this year!

From a different perspective, I have the same deal.
I have a girl that lives close to me and she used to call me her best friend
Of course, things are a little different since I got my girlfriend, but before, it was a mirror to your situation.
So, we always hang out, hug, we've kissed many times (truth or dare or whatever), and I figured what the hell, this could work.
It didnt.
She pulled the "Too Good of Friends" BS comment.
So, if you're easily put down by this kinda thing, take my story into perspective.
But if it's the right thing in your mind, by all means, get 'er done! ;).
