Have you ever failed a grade?

I think it's more likely that you were kept back because you were either too small, or too immature emotionally/mentally to keep up with the other kids and handle school. Kindergartens do that sometimes. The teacher and parents mutually discuss whether or not they think the child is ready for school.

I never failed a grade, but I'm doing a second year of Year 12 next year. It was my decision, just because I wanted to do another subject and try for a higher mark on another.
