Does everybody bleed their first time?

I am curious because one of my friends said that she did not bleed but she thought her hymen was still there? How many girls bleed vs girls who don't?

Every girl doesn't bleed their first time or ever from male - female intercourse. Sadly -- there's no definitive answer on whether a certain girl will bleed or not because though it's slim not every girl has a hymen and some girls' hymen may take a while to tear. Also -- masturbation --sex toys -- tampons -- certain sports -- bike or horse riding can put enough pressure on the hymen to tear it prior to sex that there's minimal or no bleeding when she loses her virginity.

Not everyone bleeds. Some don't even have hymens, some tear theirs before sex, some just stretch and never break.

Not everyone bleeds. Generally, if you've been fingered beforehand then it should have already been broken. And doing this will also make the first time hurt a lot less :) But of course, the first time being fingered is going to hurt but it's definitely less than the first time having sex.
