Tell me some things!

My example:

The other day I asked my girl through text why she loved me, at random.
She responded "too much to text."
I didn't think anything of it until she gave me a full deck of cards, all individually hole punched and held together with string, like a book.

Opening it, I found that each card had a sticky note with the words
"I love..." and then something that she loves about me. Made my day!

What are some sweet, cute things you guys do with your significant other? :)

One of the things that I did was during her birthday. You see, this girl of mine is obsessed with domo dolls, and so without any doubts, I know just what to do on her birthday.

For the whole day I acted like a jerk. I pretended like I didn't care and forgot completely of her birthday. I pretended to hate her. It's a part of the surprise. She noticed that I acted very differently and kept on asking me what was wrong and if maybe she had offended me. I ignored her. She even waited until we were alone and asked again but this time she was so sad she almost cried.

Her friends gathered their birthday cards from everyone that wrote and gave them to her. A bag full of cards, but none from me. She noticed that too.

So she went home after that. She was really sad. But when she got into her room, she saw a huge gift bag on her bed. A really big domo was inside. She immediately take the doll out and inside the bag, there was a red coloured card. It was from me.

I wrote
'' surprised? got loads of cards but none of them is from me? well that's because mine is hidden in this bag. I don't wanna lose you. Happy Birthday. I love you.'' Well those were some of the things I wrote cuz it was a long one lol.

Uh... no offense, but that wasn't very nice of you to act like a jerk in the name of her surprise.

The gift was sweet, but you honestly didn't have to almost drive her to tears.
You're luck that she stayed with you. I wouldn't want any boyfriend of mine doing that.

To the original poster: I've heard of the deck of cards thing, I can just imagine what a great gift that would be!

For an everyday uplifter, you can "brag" about her to your friends and make sure she is in ear shot so she will know that you are proud to be with her.

If you wanted to be really sweet, set up a candle light dinner that you cook yourself (or have a friend help you if you are a lousy chef) for no special occasion at all. She will think that it is a sweet gesture to remind her that you love her dearly.

Hope this helps! If not, I can give you some more. I know what girls like, considering I am a girl and love it when boys do this for me. :-)

I think you might have misunderstood the thread

You know what, I agree with you guys. Brilliant idea that was but being a jerk at the beginning was absolutely unnecessary. I realised that a few days after but well, it passed and I shared it with you because it happened. :)

The day ended happily though, she called, being excited, surpried and all, no harm done. Hehe.

By the way, what a thoughtful girl you have there Tyler. Nice gift.
