Getting kicked in the nuts!

Why does it hurt so very very much to get kicked in the nuts?
Its the worst pain I can imagine. It just runs through your whole body lasting for like 5 minutes....
Also, I don't think you can, but can you get serious damage down there from a kick in the nuts? If not, why does it hurt so bad?:what:

yes the testicles can can damaged seriously by a kick. yet, that depends on the severity. And I was given to understand that the feeling of pain is the clanged rush of nerves that stimulus pain.

You feel such pain because there are so many nerves in that 'area'. I'm not good with the anatomy but I think it is attached to your adomen and that is why it runs through your whole body. A serious blow their (not joking) can make you vomit, pass out or even kill you due to blood vessels bursting, or something like that. I know, a guy in my school did it nearly every day (to everyone) last year. It is a HORRIBLE experience!

I heard it takes tons of pressure to actually rupture the testicals, so you don't have to worry about blowing one :P

As odd as it is, females have a few weakspots too and where the vagina is, it hurts them as well but of course, a kick to their groin although painful isn't thought-losingly painful. For guys, we just have our nerves and stuff exposed so it's a male weak spot. Hit any guy down there and boom! Your testicles take a lot of force to rupture, the pain is from the nerves that surround them and since the testicles' tubes and nervous spread up to a males abdomen it hurts so freaking bad because the pain spreads and the guy feels as if his body is being kicked from the inside... Could be worse... girls go through periods each month and then if they have children... unimaginable pain to any male.

some guy even died from getting kicked there with football cleats. it wasnt of pain but it broke throughthe pelvis and stuff. getting kicked there is equal to like over 9000 units of pain (i forgot the name of the units haha)

Yes it's utter agony! Saw one poor guy lying in agony once after standing over a rope being used for a tug of war when it was picked up and went tight. He was sent flying. How many guys are njow crossing their legs at the thought of the pain?

If you're not very good at anatomy you're a very good guesser haha. Yes, there are a lot of nerves in this area and they do link the abnomen, which is why the pain radiates to there. It cant kill you, although it can make you vomit and, in the worst cases, cause lifelong infertility.

I dont think amount of times it happens matters I think it is how hard the person did it. If you are really worried or if it hurts like a day afterwards I would see a doctor

Well It didn't hurt for a day (thank god)
but it did hurt like hell when it happened, but i guess thats normal

Yeah it is normal for it to hurt 5-10 minutes afterwards and just try your best to avoid them haha

Not too sure about why it hurts so bad, I thinks it's a relex so you protect the area when you think you're about to get hit there. I've been kicked there by accident why wrestling in the back yard. Been hit there playing softball, believe that ball aint soft at all.

I remember I got kicked there for a month straight every morning before school. It put me in tears. The girl said she just wanted to see me cry. When ever I get kicked there now, it doesn't hurt as much, still hurts tho.
