So recently ive been really interested in audio tech and music editing. What would you guys suggest for good MIDI and audio editing software?

Do you mean like a digital software to adjust sounds electronicaly and make electronical music etc?
I use FL-studios, fruity loops. Its really good. You need to buy it though (unless you just download it like me :0)

Audacity is good for general purpose sound editing. I've used better multitrack editors though (like Audition) I'm not aware of Audacity having proper MIDI support - more professional software (e.g. FL Studio [?], Pro Tools, Sonar, Logic) would probably have better MIDI support but can get expensive.
To the OP, I can't offer too much advice personally. I'm not that familiar with music production software and I'm not really sure what you're looking to do. All I can recommend is playing with free software like Audacity, Hydrogen drum machine, etc., read about the professional software and hopefully eventually you'll find some cool tools.

I use Pro Tools LE 8 which is fantastic for sound recording and MIDI track editing. It's very expensive though! :(
