I feel like I'm always acting... I used to be nice and honest, but through out the years my never ending thoughts, the cruelty of the world, and all the expectations of people changed me so much... Now I am often very mean, and Ly about everything. I always feel like I'm acting, I haven't been "me" since I was 5...
What am I susposed to do...

everyone feels like an actor at some point in their life. I feel that all the time. I go to therapy and my counselor said that I should keep a sort of journal where I write how a thing affected me, what I've done about it, and what I wish I did. And she said that at a point I should go back to that situation and do the thing I wanted to do.
Does that make sense? I'm not good at this. Hope it's not a crappy advice, but this is the best thing I could come up with. I helped me a bit.

It's often hard to tell your own personality, because you look at yourself from your own point of view. :) You can try (I tried) talking to your friends or family, asking them to describe you. Then you probably (hopefully) recognize stuff they say and be like....Thats true, i always do that!
Hopefully that advice helped you :)

Believe in yourself young one, I too have felt like I was acting. I lived to please others and became drained because I forgot to make myself happy too, I forgot to Love myself and so I felt like I had lost myself.I believe in you, I know that you will become you again because I know that the you that you long for is still within you, waiting to join with you again. Never give up ok, With much Love I with you luck, Guidance, Healing, and Happiness.

I am sort of the same way, I am from the southern U.S. and I am expected by my family to do southern things (listen to country music, go "muddin", TAWK LIIIKE THAS HERE) but no... programming is my passion, I listen to Rock, I watch Dr. Who, I enjoy using an advanced vocabulary. But all of this is rejected by my parents, they tell me to stop "acting" when in reality that's what I truly love to listen to, watch, speak, and do...

Oops I didn't give you any advice, sorry I get sidetracked. I would be open and honest to them about it, tell them they are going to see a "new" you and if they don't like it... Oh well, they can find of way to deal with it. As brutal as that sounds its the most realistic solution in my eyes.
