I think it's really sad that we still live in a world where loved it apposed and frowned upon because some else deems it "wrong". It's a disgrace. Love is love. I feel for the people of Russia.

Its not that shocking, I read about anti-gay laws being passed in the separate oblasts. Although whats weird, its legal to err, be gay since 1993, single gay people can adopt, change genders and give blood. Its basically taking away their right to speak publicly.

that is, in fact, horrifying. for it to be voted by such an overwhelming percentage, when so much of the world is putting forward gay rights makes me wonder what the lives of people in russia are like

Even by Russia's standards I thought the vote percentage was quite high.
