She said that my sleep problems are caused by higher than normal stress levels.

I can understand this because my grandmother is constantly antagonizing the shit out of me and I can't even come into this house and take my jacket off with out being asked "Where did you go?" "Why did you go there?" "Was there anything interesting?"

I'm already trying to take me stress down by filtiring it through a computer diary I keep on here.

Can anyone else try to tell me other things of how to take down stress level?

First you need to identify the thing that is causing the stress and stay away from it, if you can.

Well I feel that one reason for the stress is mainly the arguing that is going on in the house and then someone pops up and joins in. Then of course my grandmother who bothers me to no end and people always asking me stupid questions.

Maybe you should talk to your grandma about what your feeling, and that you don't like her on top of you like that.

Music + physical excersize

I usually grab my ipod and go for a long walk at night (where i live its safe to do that)
I walk ALLOT the music drowns out my head
and then its a simple left foot, right foot, left foot, right foot
mentality

It helps me ALLOT

As Whisper said, music is a great tool, without music I would be even more depressed.

Try to avoid your grandmother a little bit at a time, and she'll sooner or later realize she's driving you crazy, or you and her can talk face to face, and set her straight, by telling her calmly that it's your life, you're safe, and that there's nothing to worry about.

Also, if someone asks you a 'stupid' question, like... "why is the sky blue" ...for example, just shut them out, and completely ignore them. It may seem rude at first, but it's a good thing to use in life, otherwise you'll be too caught up in answering stupid ass questions. When my siblings ask me a stupid question, I'm just like, answer it yourself.

That is what I am doing right now is listening to my MP3.

My doctor prescribed a sleeping pill for me to take and it got me at least 12 hours of sleep.

Is it normal for a pill to knock you out like that? But I usally take walks near evening. now that it gets dark earlier I usally have to take them near at least 4:30 or 4.

but it is helping and there is no stress that I feel right now
