Internet oiver bluetooth from PC to phone?

Okay guys, I'm getting a bluetooth dongle for my PC to use as an internet hotspot for my phone (My phone is old and dosn't have WiFi connectivity)

I was wondering if I can broadcast my internet connection over bluetooth from my PC in linux to my Phone which does have an option for bluetooth internet service.

If your phone is old, what benefit would this give? Chances are it can't really view today's websites very well. Of course, nothing is impossible, but it would require a lot of work.

Even so I can still store html Pages on my dropbox and use it as a file server of sorts

Windows 98 is about 7 years older than my phone and I can still get on VT with it, all I planned to do was browse forums on my phone. besides I have youtube and internet radio apps on it. (Doubt youtube will work, but it's worth a shot.)
