generally, what do you look for in a guy?
I'm talking realistically here.

A sense of humor, I suppose. For the most part I think it varies with the girl. Personally, I hate it when guys sag but don't care much about the way they dress, as long as it isn't poser-ish or ill-fitting.
Um.... hygiene is important. Dandruff is bad... stink is bad...
I dunno though, some girls may... like... body odor. It really depends.
Being nice is always good... but that's pretty general. If a guy is only nice to the girl he likes it's more that he's a jerk.

As budgie said smell is actually a lot more important than you think! Apparently WOMEN associate positive and negative memories a lot easier by whatever smell was in the air at the time (they are also proven to have a better sense of smell than men... that's why they hate our farts when we laugh our heads off). That's why I go really far to make myself smell nice each day (DROWNING yourself with Axe or Tag bodyspray DOES NOT COUNT, trust me it actually smells bad to most people and shows that you're too lazy to clean yourself up!). It's actually payed off quite well; girls comment me often on how good I smell and usually get in much closer to ask me if they can put their heads to my chest just for a smell! My secret? The easiest method ever: clean clothes, shampoo, and long-lasting deodorant!

Yer i like guys who smell good as in clean well rather than just drowning themselves in aftershave. And as ThatCanadianGuy said i normally go in for a better smell haha. But a guy has to have a good personality as well. They have to be polite and at least think of somethimg other than themselves once every so often.

You see that's what frustrates me so much. All the girls I get interested in seem to go for the guys that don't care about them as much as I do. I mean I wish I could tell them how much I really care about them; like how I would treat them if we were together. They do say a lot of the time that I'm really sweet and kind though, but how much do you weigh that into the equation (girls), because I'm using all the sweetness and caring I got and it's getting me nowhere!

You know guys, I hate to say it but there is such a thing as being killed with kindess. Overly sweet guys can be a turnoff because they sometimes lack that protective aspect a lot of girls look for- most of us want someone we really feel can support and stand up for us, not just someone to be a shoulder to cry on and shower us with loving words. Personally I find guys who are too nice to be downright annoying- I don't want to be told constantly that I'm pretty or that I'm the sweetest girl ever over and over again; I don't want to have gift after gift thrown at me. Above all, I want to date a guy I can be friends with, laugh with, and have a good time with.

Honesty.
Honesty.
Honesty.
Honesty.
Being humble is good to, as in, don't be cocky!
I like the shy guys somehow.
But that's just me.
Humor is a good thing too.

Sometimes when guys are too honest it gets us in trouble. :P Some girls want honesty yet they want to be told what they want to hear, even when its dishonest.

This is true.
It depends on what also.
But theres something that I admire about guys when they're honest.
And I know a lot of girls who also feel this way.

There's a lot of things that girls have to look for in a guy. Honesty's one, because no one likes a liar, and another is not rushing into things too fast. When a guy uses the word "forever" after a month, it really takes a serious toll on her.
The scent thing that people have referred to up there is very true, because there's nothing like randomly smelling the guy you like/love in the middle of the day out of nowhere. Well, until you look around and realize he isn't there, anyway.
Another thing is the guy doesn't need to expect the girl to boost his confidence and self-worth, because the girl will get tired of arguing about how great he is, and him disagreeing. Have a little confidence, will ya?
Don't think too highly of yourself either, because chances are if you love yourself too much, the girl's gonna think you've got plenty of love already and don't need hers..
Also, a sense of humor's key. "If you can make a girl laugh, you can make her do anything."
That quote's so true.
I've never payed any attention to looks, so I can't help you in that department, but hope that helped.

I know exactly what I want and don't settle for anything less. Call me shallow, I don't care. But here's how I am:
Masculine/Dominant.
Intelligent.
Good humored/can understand my sarcasm.
Honest.
Kind.
Caring.
Good hygiene; no bad breath or body odor.
Good hair; soft, no dandruff, never has product in it, but always looks good.
Kind of an asshole like me so we can keep each other in check.
Committed, but not hopelessly devoted.
...and of course: a cock that's 7" or above, but below 9".
Hate me all you want, but that's important to me too.
...aaaaaaand, that's all I can think of right now. :)

Ahaha.
That's quite a list.
I wouldn't call you shallow, you just know what you want :D.
My list is shorter though. In fact, very short. Only has 4 letters :D

What is it then?!
And that is a hell of a list! But nothing wrong with having something you like :)
