I've just finished my exams and next year I'll have to apply for university. Problem is I don't really know what I want to do.
I was thinking maybe dentistry cos I'm quite interested in teeth but I don't know if I could do it as a job. Other things I've thought about are IT or something in chemistry. For IT it seems like you don't really require a specific degree and then I don't know which bit if chemistry I'd like to do.
Help? Anyone else in a similar position to me?

If you are good with IT-relevant stuff, just do IT obviously. Isn't there a specific thing you are good at? Then just pick that.

Well I asked a few people in the IT sector and they said that they didn't need any specific IT degree...
I don't really know what I good at to be honest. :-P

Do what you enjoy and assuming you have just gotten or are going to get your grades look what you are doing best in as chances are you enjoy that subject(s) more.

I think you have to look at what you like doing and what you are good at. You want a job that you will liek and be good out. If you dont you will be not happy.

Yeah I think Chemistry is looking like a good option that'll allow me to work in various areas.
Grades required vary from A*AA to AAB

Decide on something you love doing, figure out a way to make money doing it.

I've just finished my last year of highschool and most of my friends struggled with that decision....I would advise you to get a paper and put down everything you enjoy doing and things you're good at. Also question yourself, try to imagine yourself in 10 years time, imagine what life would be if you choose certain career...also consider things like: do u like working with ppl or alone, are you good at being a leader, are you a paper person....if you'd like to travel alot and other things you can come up with. My friends said this kind of thinking helped them. :)
