I'm not sure how to put this but here i go.

Many of us (Including my self) forget the rules, i feel like their should be some form of reminder maybe? I'm thinking of maybe a weekly automated message with a different rule in each week. What are your thoughts?

EDIT: Nevermind, just a thought. Nothing needs to happen, i would delete the thread but we dont have a button for that :P

Just re-read the Rules page (http://www.virtualteen.org/forums/faq.php?faq=rules). It's not that hard to know what they are.

If you forget the rules, can't you go back to read them yourself? Besides, from what I remember working with vB (although that was nearly a year ago), that's a bit of a weekly hassle for staff to keep members who don't read the rules even though they very well could in line.

I suppose so guys, i'm just thinking, sometimes you may not want to go and read them if you know what i mean. I can also see the weekly hassle....

Edit: Here guys, theres no need for this thread. "Rules may be amended, revised, or deprecated at anytime. It is your responsibility to be aware and abide by the most current rules. Any primary rules (found in the Frequently Asked Questions section) take affect before registration, meaning guests may be IP range banned for violations, unless stated otherwise."

Okay, I'm going to to be complely honest here and I don't mean to offend anyone:

Why can't you (or anyone for that matter) just read the rules and FAQs more often? If there is a certain rule that you forget the most then read that rule the most. Why should the staff have to create messages to remind people of the rules when they are perfectly capable of reminding themselves of the rules?

I think given the amount of times that FAQs and Rules are placed all over the website, it really isn't needed. There's a nice FAQ button on the top toolbar, and there's a suggestions FAQ, plus other stickies with rules too, such as picture policies.

They're really obvious, and also the rules will stick with you once you've got them, so once you know them, it might be annoying having more rules pop-up all the time :p
