Ok, so I have a younger brother who is three years old. Before he was born and when my mother was only about three months into pregnancy, my mum and me were in a car crash. Being there knowing it happened makes me wonder whether the car crash contributed to his autism today. Please answer lve been worrying about this since I found out he was autistic

I do not think so. If the car crash damaged the baby in such an early stage, he would have had somehting much worse then autism. As a matter of fact, you are probably lucky he is healthy in general, knowing your mother had a car crash in her pregnancy :)

You shouldn't worry about it much. Your brother was well protected at that stage of development.

I like you have a brother with autism; it's so hard to stop worrying and over thinking about them, so I know where you're coming from.
Autism can be caused by things in the prenatal environment, but I highly doubt that the car crash you were in could've contributed to his development of autism. It's more things such as; diabetes, bleeding and use of psychiatric drugs.
