Hello, i'm having some issues with my height. I'm 16 years old(17 in september) my height is 174cm and 62kg that was measured year ago. My mom is 170cm, dad 183, brother 186cm and every one was telling me that i will start to growing rapidly but that never happend. Last summer i noticed that i got stretch marks on my back, its like tiger scratched me but till now i didnt grow that much and i really want to be 185-190cm. Till age of 10 i was like all the other kids but then they started growing rapidly and i was always 3rd from behind by height only boys and there was 15 boys and 16 girls in class, from then i was always small and growing slowly.. I got mustache and hair all over my face, legs, little on bottom of my stomach and i recently noticed that i'm getting chest hair. I been to doctors and i asked them about my stretch marks and they said because i'm growing rapidly but i didn't see any changes for a year.. and they said i will grow later, but i want to be tall and how can i know if i will grow any more :)? All friends are taller than me and i feel like dwarf. Also my brother said that i'm getting taller in last month and that he see some changes. Can i go to doctor and to ask him can he do some tests if i will grow taller or not? Thank you all in advance.

You really aren't that short at all. You certainly aren't 'tall' but you're probably around average height.
