I have to give a 30 min talk entitled: "love in action", to a group of 17 year olds in september. If you've heard any stories or have celebrity examples or even just a challenge for me to pose to them which could link to this topic I would be very happy to hear them. Any quotes would also be much appreciated.
Many thanks.

Love in Action.... That's a pretty broad subject. Could you elaborate? I'd be happy to help, but otherwise I can't.

Ok. Its a retreat. Four days long with a general theme of getting to know yourself; this talk is on the fourth day, so I need to challenge them to put their new found appreciation/love of themselves and others into action when they leave the retreat house. Check the retreat basics here: http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kairos_(retreat)

What I'm thinking is to teach the kids all about kindness, inspired by the fact they love people. They should be kind to people since the value the human being, is what I think. A good example would be Andrew Carnegie. He was a major dude in the steel industry back in the 1800s, if you didn't know. He loved people and had money, so he gave and gave and gave. Sure, your kids might not have big bucks, but they can show love for people by contributing and being kind with what they have.
