So as you can see, that iPhone is only $150 plus $20 per month for 24 months. I'm on a family plan, so would I be able to buy the iPhone and jut add it to my family plan and keep the same number and billing cost? Or do I have to buy a special plan?

Whats that mean?^

When it says that ^

Does it mean I can only download 2.5 gb? What does that mean it slows down after 2.5 gb? I don't get that at all. What would I download thats worth more than 2.5 gb? Movies on iTunes aren't even that much. So if I wanted to download something worth 2.6 gb, does that mean I can't since it goes over the 2.5 limit? Or does it mean I can only download an accumulative 2.5 gb per month? Or does it mean that it's only 2.5 gb of speed, but I can't download as much gb as I want it's just going to download a lot slower?

You do realize that it is $150 + $20x24 for the phone only, not including service, so you end up paying $630 for the phone. (it would probably be cheaper just to buy an unlocked one and not be bound to a carrier service that charges huge monthly rates)

When you click "Add to cart" it will take you to a page with the plan pricing and has the family plan option there.

I think it would be best to call TMobile and ask them your question just so you know you've got the right answer.

"ONLY" $150 plus $20 per month?

I'm sure you can keep your plan, go to a T-Mobile store and ask.

Btw Android > iPhone

The 2.5 GB has nothing to do with the capacity of the iPhone, but how much internet data you are using. The iPhone you are looking at has 16GB and that pertains to how much songs/movies/apps it can hold.
The 2.5 GB of data is what you’ll need when browsing the web, sending e-mails, watching YouTube videos, updating Facebook and Twitter, making Skype calls and navigating using maps. All of these activities consume different amounts of data. The iPhone is capable of working with your Wifi network at home and if you use the Wifi while you're at home and use the data for internet occasionally when you're out and about, you will probably not go over your 2.5 GB of data limit. If you feel that you'll be using the internet on your phone a LOT, then you might want to look at the unlimited data plan.

Typical web browsing 2.5gB should be a sufficient amount for you. That is, as long as you don't stay obsessively glued to your phone. Personally, I pay for 4gB of data a month and never actually hit the 1gB mark unless I'm without internet due to a trip or something of the such.

Videos on Youtube will take up more data than a news article would for obvious reasons. But again, as long as you remember your have a computer you should be fine with a 2.5gB limit.

Wait, is this family plan 2.5 GB per phone or 2.5 spread out over all the phones? If it is 2.5 across all phones, I'd say that might not be enough if others in your family will be using a substantial amount of internet as well...
