So you may have notice I haven't post here in a couple days, and thats because my dad is in the hospital. There is nothing majorily wrong with him, it was just that he was having breathing difficulties and he needed to go to the hospital to be checked out. Since he smokes a lot he needed to be put on oxygen there, but he wont need an oxygen tank when he is out of the hospital. He also has a hernia so he will go into surgey when his lungs get better. So I am over my aunts house until he gets released. Just hopes he gets better.

Sorry to hear about your dad Nicholas. Has anyone said how long it will take for his lungs to get better? Or what caused the breathing trouble?

They say he might be out tommorow. The doctor's think that smoking was a major contributing factor that affect his lungs. He also works in constructioning so since he is around dust a lot, that could also be another way it affected his breathing.

It's nice he's getting out, that's great news. Smoking as we know isn't good, but my guess is that he is addicted, so I'm guessing he'd appreciate no one nagging him about it. He MIGHT appreciate some alternative ideas. I can't remember what it's called, but they have electronic cigarettes that only deliver nicotine and water vapor, so it's smoke free which means no tar.

I wish I could say the above are facts, but I can't, but that's what I remember a neighbor lady telling me she was got that for her dad who I'd guess is in his 60s or more and she said his breathing got way better. Oh and he can use it inside because he only exhales water vapor, no smoke.

Anyway, good for you and your dad. Hope he gets better and all this goes away for good.
