Yep, everyone of us is different, and beautiful in our own way.
Its just that society is all about blending in. Being different makes you end up
being a target, a sore thumb. You get supressed by all these haters and bullies. So being different just fizzles away until you're worn away, shaped like another ... normal person.

My three favorite words from that video: they were wrong. Maybe you don't have to conform to ordinary society. Maybe you should change society. Maybe, society s being different yet working together in a different way. Maybe diversity is they key to a good society. Being uniformly similar, is not society, it is depressing. If we were meant to blend in, then the author of the poem you just watched, would not have wrote that. Trust me when I say I know how you feel. I tried to suppress many aspects of my personality, but, then someone showed me this video. A few months later, here I am. I feel happier, I am in a relationship with someone I love, regardless of the fact that we are the same gender. Maybe fat kids like me shouldn't dance for a sport, maybe kids like me should be bullies, or wrestlers, or security guards. But, I want to dance, I can't even kill a fly, and I couldn't even begin to fight anyone. Maybe society said I should be different. Maybe I didn't listen. But, I am not the only one who has done this. But I'm happy. I might have to buy a bigger shirt, but, maybe the definition of beauty is not whether you can fit into an Abercrombie T-shirt.
