Haven't Ever had A Physical since I was 8

I Rarely Ever Create Threads Here, But What The Heck...

I haven't had a "check-up" since I was 8. My little brother who's 13 has them every year. I am starting to wonder why he does and I don't. I really don't want one at all. Even thinking about some person that I don't know feeling my junk up is really creepy freaky to me. Do you guys think there's a reason that I haven't ever had one?

EDIT: I do sports. They don't require it though. I'm talking Junior Varsity too.

Whether you want one or not, you should probably get one regularly. My school requires that I do. I don't particularly like having to spread my legs for my doctor, but if it means I can stay healthy and aware of my body, then I'm glad to do it.

I have a physical every year because of sports, so if you're not in sports in school that may be why. Just ask your parents why?

Come over to good old Britain. The idea of going to a doctor every year and having him touch you up scares me as well. I mean over here if your ill you go and see the doctor but you don't visit just to check your junk

ya in the usa u get them when u play sports is wat my friends have told me but in canada u dont need them so i have not had 1 since i was little and ya i wouldnt want one either

I would go for one once a year I think that is the best thing.. I think its good to be safe..

I agree with snowtrax. At my high school different sports required different medical assessments. I had to have a physical annually, solely for sports. I'm sure it's uncomfortable for guys, but they're doctors and have seen countless amounts of people's bits and won't think anything of it. If you feel you need one - which is always a good thing to get - then get one. It will be over before you know it.
