The girl I like is going to the school ball with another guy. She seems to show that she likes me more than friends yet she goes to the ball with another guy. She didn't know me that well when preparing for the ball but she is showing me signs of liking me now. Should I be worried that she is going to the ball with another guy?
By the way, girls ask the guys to the ball an no one asked me :( so I can't dance with her at all.

I feel for you man....
You should just see how it works out. If they end up not liking each other at al you will be there for her right?

It is the ball, which is a special occasion unto itself. Maybe she's closer with that guy than with you. And if she doesn't get together with him, then you become a shoulder for her to lean on, there's a chance you'll get friendzoned. -.-

What if she has been showing the following signs of liking me though.
Signs she likes me
I've noticed my crushes friends look at me a lot. A few of her good friends say hi to me too. I've also over heard them talking about me calling me popular once.
One time one of her good friends entered the classroom and my crush told her something. Her friend then asked me if I have a girlfriend and I said no. My crush smiled at me and looked back at her friend.
I've told her friend that my crush is my favourite. She told her what I said and she smiled at me.
She wanted to know if she was invited to and event I知 organising. I said yes and she smiled.
I told her I like girls from a certain country. She said she is not from the country. I corrected myself saying I like girls who live in the country I知 living in. After I said this she smiled.
She looks at me a lot and maybe also glances at me when talking to her friend in class.
Her shoulders face me in class (Usually occurs in class, when she is talking to her friends behind her, she turns so her shoulders are facing me and her head is facing her friends. Also as she is facing the front, her shoulders are still facing me)
When I was sitting next to her once, her foot seemed to be facing me and her leg was placed in an angle facing me.
She asked me if I missed her, I told her I did and she smiled
One of her friends told her that I like her, she looked in my direction and smiled
My crush was with her friend and was applying cream on her hands which caught my attention to her hands.
Said hi to me and was smiling at me as she said it.
My crushes friend told me to sit next to my crush and her, when I looked at my crush she smiled with a closed mouth. When I moved she was smiling widely.
She smiles a lot at me and it seems her face brightens up when she is with/talks to me.
She smiled and her face brightened up when she told me that I liked her Facebook profile picture
When I gave her an invitation to an event she smiled and her face brightened up
She was speaking to me about the event and was smiling
When sitting next to her and looking at the chalk board I needed to reach over to see the chalk board properly. Instead of standing up and reaching towards the opposite side of me, she stretched towards the way I was reaching over to a point she was about to fall on top of me.
I wasn't sitting near her but she walked around she almost fell on top of me.
She also asked if she could borrow something for the task that we were doing. I gave it to her to use and when she gave it back she reached her hand towards me and when I took it back she left her hand stretched towards me for a little while more .
Signs she doesn't like me
She seems to talk about other boys to her friends. Not sure if its only when i'm around her. Also talked about a date or something similar.
She didn't ask me to the school ball. But asked another guy.
Confusing signs
I also saw her in the back of a car with two boys from my school at the front of the car. I知 not sure if I should be worried with the situation or if I shouldn稚 worry about it. But I saw the car driving out of the road and I saw her turn her head towards me as I was walking on the footpath.
I started exams recently and I asked my crush if we enter the exam rooms. She said yes and on the way to the exam rooms I saw she was walking slowly. I caught up with her and asked her if she was ready. She said she wasn't and asked me if I was ready. I said I was ready bit but when I sit for the exam I forget. She replied alright. She then randomly said if she needed a pencil for the test, I told her she didn't but she could borrow mine. She then moved to the side looking for a pencil while I walked to the exam rooms. When I reached the exam rooms, I saw her again.
She's on Facebook a lot. Sometimes late at night on her mobile device.
I invited my crush to my party. She said that she was able to come but didn't show up. I sent a text message to her friend & instead of her friend texting my crush, my crushes friend gave me her number. I sent my crush a message and She said her parents didn't allow her out, yet she had been to other parties. There is a project due at school so could that be the reason. She said she was able to come to my party a lot and was talking about it a lot.
When sitting in my desk in class, the girl I like brushes past me. Sometimes its her arm, hip or sometimes when i'm looking in my bag she brushes past me and her skirt also brush onto my arms (walks close to me).

Those are a damn lot of signs .-. Well, does she have any relation to this guy she's bringing to the ball? Any "signs" that she likes him too?

None, she is mostly in her own group of girls in the school and hardly talks to any guys but talks to me a bit and listens to me a lot when her friend asks me questions and I answer them and chimes in when I answer questions. She doesn't have any guys in the school which she has relations with too so...

So this guy. Any idea why she asked him to the dance? Is it a dare? An IOU debt?

Well. Those "signs" are just... signs. They don't exactly show that she likes you. Maybe you could talk to her about it, just casually ask her if she wants to go to the dance with you, then listen to her reason why she's going with that guy.

The dance is today... Also I can't ask the girl to the dance, the girls ask the guys. Looks like I will never find a girl who I like who likes me the same way.

She doesn't talk much to any guys. She mostly talks to the girls in her own group (who are only girls). I'm not sure if they are friends. I don't even know who he is at all :(. But as I said she hardly talks to any guys and mostly talks to her girl friends.

Well... Our best bet here is that she HAD to do it, or she owes it up to him .-. I'm sure it won't evolve into anything, since she does seem to like you. I recommend you ask her casually why she didn't ask you to dance with her, ask her in a joking way.

I did sone research about being friend zoned:
She mentions that you’re friends all the time.
She has never called me a friend but always talks nicely and is friendly all the time showing me the signs as I already did
She always brings friends along.
I invited her to my birthday party and she said yes at first but pulled out on the day of the party saying that her parents were not letting her out. She said sorry about two times the next time she saw me. Her friend was also invited and she said that she was coming a while before my crush told me. She said she was not able to make it on the day of the party too and said she had something to do with her family. She never said sorry. Both didn't know I invited their friend. Maybe only my crushes friend. (There was a project that was due the first day we went back to school, so it could be that)
She talks to you about boys and personal problems.
She hasn't told me anything about boys or her personal problems. But I hear her talk about it to her friends.
You only hang out when she wants and not when you suggest it.
She never offers to hang out with me and i've never done the same.
If you hear any of these phrases directed at you.
Why can’t I meet a guy like you?
You’re like a brother to me.
Best friends forever.
I don’t want to ruin what we have.
she has never said any of this.
There’s no physicality or attraction.
All in the signs I mentioned previously.

You really do like her, don't you. Well, all the things that you've researched point that she does like you more than a friend. So i guess, we should be patient and hope that there's nothing between her and this guy she asked to the dance. Just believe in her bud.

It is the second one that is getting me a bit worried. Both her friend and my crush didn't attend my party and pulled out in the last minute. But she said sorry a lot when I saw her after. So, I'm not exactly sure about that one and would like your advice.

Yep. She seems to like you, and maybe, probably, there's an explanation for this one too. So just let it play out, don't worry too much about it. Trust is the key. Maybe her friend set her up? You just don't know. So stop worrying, and chill.

She introduced her to him, and forced her to go to the dance with him. A friend of mine got forced to go to a dance with a random girl because his friend set them up.

Do you think it could be possible that she was scared and told her friends that she was afraid to ask me but she still wanted to go and her friends helped her go with another guy so she could still go.

It's a possibility... But her signs have shown that she's not afraid to flirt a bit with you, so idk if she was shy, but it could have been possible.
