I come from a well-to-do, affluent town. It's like 30% rich and 70% middle class. The popular girls are often the rich ones and a lot of them are stupid, considering my school's rank in the state. Some of them are good at keeping their wealth to themselves-- I respect them. Then there are the ones who go to Mexico every school break and get fake tans. There's this one girl who doesn't get tan but she demands respect. One of those girls, where if your eyes are floating around the room out of boredom and they happen to cross her even if for a second, she'll raise her voice and say "what do you want?". She's done it to others, not just me. She'll be the one saying "that's rude", the one who if called on by a teacher to answer a question, she will make a stern face. She gossips like she's from "Mean Girls". However, when she is polite and willing to speak to me in class, I respect her. But not other times. Any of you have people like this in your school?

I'm pretty sure that there are girls like that everywhere. There are a few in my class, but we're pretty good friends, so I deal with it.

My family and I moves a lot and I always, always encounter girls like that (I wonder if I will encounter some this year). I don't know why. Sometimes, they would pick on me, roll their eyes when they see me. Some "popular" girls hates people like me. Huhuhu.... But it's fine. Used to it. *thumbs up* :D

Where I live, most people are very wealthy (as in, earning some of the highest incomes in the country wealthy) and I go to a private school, so everyone's pretty affluent. It's actually abnormal not to be, so by taking exotic trips and whatnot, they're not exactly flaunting it or rubbing it in other people's faces; it's a fact of their lives and it's normal for the community. As well, nobody's particularly hostile in my grade.

AHAHAHA Reading this makes me so angry lol, are there actually people like this? Seriously give them no attention they're so retarded. As you get older, things will get better as people will hate those 'popular girls' more and more or the girls will mature. As you get older people will take more action to just ignore them or actually tell them to STFU and stop being a bitch because well thats what everyone collectively wants to do right? my god AHAHHAA id be SOOOOOOO ANGRY if i had to put up with that myself... unlucky !

The bitches here where I live in Sydney just get owned, there isn't any in my age group anymore because they have no friends and you never see them because EVERYONE knows they're worthless and we're better than them, and every teen in Sydney has adopted the term '12vie' and it just feels amazing that everyone has that view on any young looking girl that just comes off as a slutty turd. saying 12vie is just so fun to say ahahaha it sums them up so well. [also refers to males]

this photo sums it up pretty well https://fbcdn-sphotos-a-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-ash4/p480x480/392428_134248010055200_316175684_n.jpg [latenight is just a thursday where shopping centres stay open for longer]

http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=12vie not the best definition but thats all there is lol

Honestly, who gives a fuck? If they're not bothering you directly then pretend they're dead. They suddenly become less irritable than if you we're giving them actual attention, which is what they probably want anyways.

I know the type. In our school there's a group who called themselves CLAM (letters of first names) and they're like the girls from Mean Girls. Its really weird, I never know what to think because sometimes they'll be all snarky and sarcastic and other times they'll say something nice and I never know whether to believe it or if they're just taking the mick.

I knew a few of them. I had a best friend who's only goal was to be popular, even if it meant tearing me down like the rest of them. She pretty much gossiped and probably started half of the rumors about me. Then last summer, she pretty much tried to change me to be like her and hurt others which got me really insecure. Then by fall, I had nothing to do with her.

I go to the best high school ever, we don't have girls who act like that. That's way I applied for this school at first place. In other schools there are those girls, but I don't pay attention. In my class there is one who would like to be like those ones, but she's the black sheep and don't have friends from school. High school is over now though, and I hope that on faculty there are not going to be those "popular" girls. :)

I live in a very similar town, and it's very strange being that my girlfriend and I come from totally opposite families, my dad founded/owns the 2nd largest company of it's kind in the world...her parents own a pawn shop that hardly manages to squeak by. These kind of girls are all over the place, we end up dealing with them a lot especially if I ever get her anything nice or we go to a nice place for dinner since she is "trying to move up now" according to them. She's hit her fair share of those girls. Seriously so obnoxious.
