This is beyond embarassing to admit but really, i've had trouble 'getting it up' with my girlfriend recently.
And by that I mean I've had problems getting and staying hard. It's really awful. I masturbate but not often but my girlfriend always asks me if she's doing something wrong and I just wanna take this off her mind. How do I get it up and keep it up?

A really rare case of erectile dysfunction, so just talk to her about it

First of all, don't be embarrassed about it. You might have a low sex drive. Not enough testosterone. Some psychical defect. It might be psychological. You might be too nervous. I could be due to a nutrition deficiency. Best thing for you is to talk to a doctor.

Nerves can be a big issue. Relax, and try a bit of foreplay, and take it from there

I wish I could help, I have the opposite problem, I get an erection even when I'm not aroused. Good luck, as others have said it's probably psychological and the need to relax.

Circumcision could be a factor. Loads of nerves and blood vessels and such in the foreskin, and two of the functions of the foreskin are getting and maintaining erections.

Talk to your doctor about it. That's what they're for.

Everyone posting here is wrong, 'cept for johnsmith1 here. This is it exactly. There is absolutely nothing wrong with you medically or physically.

It's just nerves, probably because it might be your first time?
I never had a problem getting it up when masturbating, and even the slightest breeze would get me hard, but when I had my first girlfriend and we started to mess around, I couldn't get hard to save my life and that was because it was just my first time with someone else and I was all nervous about it.

Try and be more comfortable around her, RELAX and yeah, do some foreplay =D

I think that you should go talk to your doctor and possibly see if you have ED or low testosterone or something. I wouldnt be ashamed about it at all!
