I've always wondered, how does being on a plane make you feel...?

Happy... Very happy, its one of my favourite places to be, I love aviation and flying so yeah, it makes me feel giddy and like a child again :D :D
If you are meaning the actual sensations and stuff of flying, well there is the slightest bit of g-force, just ever so slightly you can feel being pushed back in the seat as takeoff thrust is set and stuff. Also maybe a bit of popping ears, other than that, not much different.

Flying in a commercial jet or a small aircraft is a lot of fun :-)

I love planes, first i love to be flying. But also because mentally if I am on a plane then I know I am going somewhere, for holiday or excitement to a new place or something. It is wonderful.

I love flying it's one of my favourite things! I love the build up to boarding a plane in the airport, walking towards the plane and seeing it's size and thinking 'wow that's travelled at 500 mph at 35,000 ft and I'M GOING TO BE INSIDE OF IT'. I love the announcements, meals, flight attendants ;) and just everything. I wanted to be a pilot ever since I was 5 but now I realise I only enjoy being the passenger.

I love flying, I plan to get my private pilots license in a couple years and maybe buy an older Cessna 150 or piper cub some time after that.

I've never really been on a airplane before. I'm actually not really thrilled with them, I'm worried that I'm gonna crash! But that's just me!

I have been flying planes since I was 13 years old, and my mom was flying before that. My family owns a Mooney and we take turns flying it to and from different places. How does it feel? That all depends, when you are in a commercial flight it is kind of boring, but when you are in the passenger compartment of a small single engine prop. plane or turbo prop it makes me relax completely. When you are flying it is a completely different story, you feel that slight race of adrenaline and I think it has something to do with the fact that man was never supposed to naturally fly, and when he does you feel like you might get in trouble. That and I live near D.C. so there is always the chance that I WILL get in trouble with the FAA

I probably own all you people when it comes to number of planes I have been in, the first time I flied I was 2 months old. It is great, best time to sleep, read, or relax and then enjoy when you arrive to your destination, flying on planes is something extremely usual for me.

It truly depends on the flight, and airline. If im flying in Business or First its obviously a very nice experience with newer planes getting lie-flat and such. If its transatlantic/pacific economy class, however, I cant wait till im off! :D
I do love flying tho. I'll be flying alone from Atlanta-Stuttgart-Paris-Geneva-Paris-Pittsburgh-Atlanta in a few weeks in Delta's BusinessElite. I cant wait =)

Excited, I love flying, although I don't like when the plane hits turbulence, that freaks me out.

You've never been on a plane?
You're missing out. Whenever I'm on a jet, I feel as though I'm living in the future.
Picture a Rollar coaster. Then add occasional bumpiness and turbulence, and roaring engine sound in the background. And then put yourself in a train or bus. That's kinda what it's like.
Taking off is just like a car accelerating, except with a lot louder deeper sounding engine and 10x as much force and speed.
When you land, the entire plane kinda bounces, and then when the spoilers come out all the way and the air brakes are turned on it's as if your somehow in a car going 250 miles an hour and the driver slams on the brakes...I'm not joking.
My uncles so lucky; he flies first class like 20 times a year! Because of his business, he literally has millions of airline miles. I want to go on that many vacations someday!

Sort of the same situation with your uncle and my parents. My dad sends his employees on lots of business trips so we get lots of airmiles. I get to fly in first+business class all the time - not cause I'm paying for it (90% of the people flying up front pay full price) - but because of miles.

Hmmm. It's nice when the FAs look hot. Something/someone to look at for the duration of the flight. Haha
Lately i've only been on small planes with 3-3 seating. Feels cramped. I miss being on the big planes where there's 3-4-3 with the big screens in the middle.
One thing i really hate is the leg space. I'm quite tall so it's so hard to find a position for me to be comfortable in especially during long flights that last more than 4 hours.
Best thing is the view outside especially if you're flight has a really good time like during sunrise or sunset. It's really amazing.

Actually, my uncle gets the air miles from his business I believe because of the business credit card he uses. He's in construction, so he's using the card to buy like dump trucks and other expensive equipment and supplies...as you can imagine, the miles add up quickly!
It's great though, because he always gives us the miles we need whenever we want to fly up to Alaska (where he lives) to see him and my cousin.
What does your dad do for a living?

Weirdly enough there are still planes with 3-3 seating in economy and 2-2 seating in BusinessElite flying across the Atlantic by looking at my seatmap for an upcoming flight.

However, going towards Stuttgart, its a good ol' big plane :) Thank god the BusinessElite arrangement is 1-2-1 so I dont have to sit next to someone I dont know (im flying alone).

My dad is in cosmetic medicine (BOTOX, laser etc.) The majority of his business is conducted where we live, in Atlanta, but frequently employees are flown to his office in Miami or to training seminars in New York or Los Angeles.

I really don't see much of a difference. All I can say is that the plane ride to my destination is not the highlight at all.

Why? It's safer then driving.

I am scared of flying in a plane. Fear of heights. But, from what I have heard, planes are more convenient than buses or cars.

They are. And safe, too, not to mention at least 10 times as fast.
Have you ever been in a plane? I have a friend who is totally scared of Hieghts to, but planes are fine since it's enclosed. Also, it's less scary then being in a tall buliding because you are so extremely high up ; 7 miles in the sky! The extremeness of the height actually makes him feel more comfortable, because the ground is so far away you have lots of time to react if something happens.
Just don't get a window seat :) you only have to look outside if you want to the windows are so tiny.

I used to have a horrid fear of heights. Its still bad sometimes; however, I feel extremely comfortable in jets. I guess maybe because its completely enclosed.
