My Citalopram has been lowered and I am starting to feel a bit funny about them being put down. I don't know what the effects of getting tablets lowered, the last time they got put down I started to cut myself again. I am not at this stage anymore but i am feeling really emotional about nothing, and starting to get annoyed like super easy. I don't want them put back up but I just don't know what I should for the best.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Whenever you feel the urge or the need just try to relax and do something entertaining to keep your mind off of it. If you start cutting again just tell the person and get a little more Citalopram. However you can't be too dependent on the drug. Drugs most definately can have bad effects. So don't worry about the efects of it being lowered. Just when it increases. Try to help yourself and fight it as hard as you can. Getting some friends and talking to them is another great way to ease your mind of your woes. If you need anymore help i'll be here

Your body is probably just getting used of the lowered amount.

If you begin to cut yourself, bring it up to your doctor or therapist. The doctor/therapist is probably trying to slowly wean you off of those, as they may feel you can't live your whole life on anti depressants.

I agree with what was said above.

It takes a while for the body to regulate new drug amounts. If you start feeling the urge to cut, tell your therapist ASAP.
