I can't remember it's name, it's written by Ernest Hemmingway, but it's only six words long.

The shortest horror story in the world.

The last man on earth sat alone in a room. There was a knock on the door.

Do you not have a Tumblr? It's your One True Pairing, like a favourite couple. Most people have like three or four of them.

The Most Dangerous Game by Richard Connell. It's a fairly long short story, spanning about 10 pages in my 9th Grade Literature Book. It also should be fairly popular :P
