So basically, education in Singapore is like 7-8 hours of lesson every weekday then we have this Co-curricular activity (CCA) as an extra program. Since I'm in what Singaporeans call a 'secondary school' (Singapore version of high school), we learn at least 10 subjects spread out each week, like for me I take English, Chinese, Maths, Science, Social studies, Geography, Principles of accounting, Design and technology, Character education and Physical education. Usually, school would start early in the morning and ends in the afternoon, but I've seen students who stay until evening. So what about education in other countries?

Sounds like you have a lot of classes. Here in Holland we mostly get mathmetical stuff and lots of languages. ( I get german, dutch, english, french, and ancient latin and greec )
Besides we mostly get educated to be very international and have knowledge of the world and IT-type jobs.

I see, that's a lot of languages. Must be stressful to handle so many things at once

Kind of, but I'm luckily pretty good at languages.

In Scotland in our 4th year we do 8 subjects at the "standard grade" level, including Maths, English, A language and a science.

When we move up into 5th year we do 5 subjects at intermediate or higher, so last year I done Maths, English, Physics, Geography and Music but basically you can do any subject as long as they are in the right subject column. And then you can do the next level up or five more in our 6th year.
