That's basically it. I've mainy heard wet dreams, when the body's initially got to that stage, and boys haven't figured out masturbation yet, and the body releases it during a very interesting dream. Or when you still have that initial high levels of hormones and havent masturbated in a few days.

Many people seem to view having a wet dream as a development milestone but the real milestone is the ability to ejaculate however that happens, whether through a wet dream or through masturbation. Wet dreams are basically to get rid of unused semen, so if you masturbate regularly then you won't have any unused semen, therefore you won't have any wet dreams.
