Would someone please explain to my how and/or WHY cars made by one of the most exclusive auto manufacturers has cars that are this cheap? I mean I understand that they're old, but still! They are Bently's no matter what! Someone must be able to answer my questions. Again, The top link leads you to a Bently that is about half as expensive as a modern day TOYOTA CAMRY!

I don't think I'd ever get one because of maintanence and insurance and all that garbage...

The problem is if you buy a $20,000 Bentley, you're still paying for upkeep and maintenance on a $200,000 Bentley.

Yeah, that's what I'm saying. I was saying that when it comes to used cars, 50 thousand is actually really great condition wise. I mean the car I'll end up buying will probably have a good 150 thousand miles on it...

Lol saying something is hand built in England from the 70s and 80s and 90s is just another way of saying the door is going to fall off.

NIce cars just a lot of money for insurance..

Honestly, people who buy a $300,000 new Bentley arent really concerned about insurance or gas costs! For a piece of ***** old car like that the insurance is not as high as a new Bentley, but more than lets say a 1987 Honda Accord. The reason those cars are priced so low is because they were not very successful or popular cars back in the day. Also, I've found out that the fancier the car, the less reliable it is over time. Luxury cars depreciate more and more as years go by. For instance I saw a 1997 Ferrari that originaly cost $150,000 now worth only $50,000 and that is in good condition. That Ferrari, in my opinion because I love Ferraris, has a unmistakable look and is really great and worth it; but it is less technologially andvanced than a $50,000 Corvette. And even though a 1997 Ferrari is an exotic sports car and a base Corvette is only a sports car, both of them are as fast.
--Comparing a 25 year old ultra luxury sedan and a new Toyota Camry, the Camry is more fuel efficient and has much much much more conviences in it that that old car. That Bentley Continental R is a pretty nice car...but...

Does that explain why these Bentleys are so cheap !!!
