people don't really care what your life is like, especially people that you used to know two years ago. when i tried to have a normal conversation with my friends from two years ago, they just gave me a freakin' attitude. they didn't even talk to me and they just went on with their own thing. honestly, if this keeps up, i don't think i want to go to college. If i'm not given the attention i deserve, why bother living? might as well be a recluse.

if me and a friend stopped talking for two years and then sudden started to talk to me again, I would also have the same attitude, after a while people grow apart, it's normal, so stop taking this personally and don't let it bother you. The whole not going to college thing - huge mistake and I'd advice you to get that out of your mind. I don't know where you're from, but here when me and my friends started sixth form, we all eventually stopped talking, there's too much work to do and most people have adopted a very 'selfish' attitude where they'll have their education above their friendship. It's fine though as none of us are really bothered, we all know education is a lot more important. So my point is, people change, don't take it personally and don't let it obstruct your life, if you do, you will definitely regret it in the future.

i am kind of taking it personally. i cried about this yesterday and i know you guys don't think it's necessary but really i have never really made any good friends in real life so i do need a lot of support from peers and everything and since high school is not doing it, i don't know if college will work out for me. i don't know what i have ever said to deserve this. i'm not even sure if i did something to cause me to find so little friends.

well your advice have been pretty helpful. thanks guys but i wish i had more friends in this life. i fear that things are going to change no matter how hard i try. i want others to come approach me. i approach others but as soon as I do they just tell me that they're too busy or that they have some other stuff to work on or that something last minute just came up. quit making excuses
