The Pros and Cons of Shaving?

Hi all,

I'm a fan of the hairy look, BUT my pubes seem too overgrown and I'm only 14, I've been thinking of trimming but I'm not sure.. I also have chest hair growing but I don't know wether to shave it- I don't want to but we all know that when you shave it grows back quicker and thicker or is that just facial and public hair? So what is good about completely shaving pubes and what is bad?

Shaving doesn't make hair thicker than before. That's just an urban legend. I would say shave the chest hair, if you don't like it, just wait for it to grow back.
