Animal Crossing fans!

I love Animal Crossing. I have a character plush of the villager, Champ. I have all of the games including Population Growing, Wild World, City Folk, and soon... New Leaf! I have been waiting for the release of New Leaf for 3 years. I pre-ordered New Leaf at Gamestop, so I'll pick it up on June 9th. I like how they are bringing back villager pics. It was my favorite feature of Wild World. The animal interaction is sure to improve. Commercials have been released, as well. I think this will be a great game to play on my Red 3DS XL, with a bigger screen.

Also, YAY for Porter coming back. I missed him and his train station back in Population Growing. :)

Basically, it is a game where you are a person, in a town full of animals. You can have villagers from dogs to cats, and monkeys to apes, and a lot more. You can choose a house to live in, but you don't have enough. And Then you need to work at a store part time because you are in debt to a raccoon named Tom Nook. There are many things you can do like fish, catch bugs, pick up shells on a beach, dig up fossils or gyroids. Also you can expand your house and make it bigger. Then you can decorate it to make a cool house that you like. It goes with real date and time. Life stimulation. :)

It's really fun if you try it out.

I don't know why I always compared Animal Crossing with Harvest Moon even though I know I shouldn't because they aren't related in much. I always picked Harvest Moon, although I think that is about to change.

I used to love Harvest Moon, but I lost interest. Animal Crossing is awesome, anyway.

i love the series
i have played for like 7+ years
and i've owned (and currently own) every game
and i love the whole series it is fabulous

i preordered the new one may 12 2012 and i have it paid for already and i'm picking it up sunday
but i'm buying a second copy from the eshop at midnight on the 9th
and my friends and i are so excited and we can't wait

edit; harvest moon is good too; they kinda are similar to an extent. i liked the HM games

Yes, I am super excited, didn't know they were bringing back villager pictures, I really loved those too! I have been trying to ignore any information on the game, I want it to all be new and exciting when I play for the first time :D

I applaud you so much. When it came out in Japan, I started watching english translations of game play and I kinda regret it.. but it was like I couldn't resist.. I watched probably a good 10-12 hours of game play.. I'm still excited for the game though, and I know it's gonna be great.


I'll gladly play with any of you guys by the way. ;)
