I think you shouldn't try to label yourself: maybe you just feel like protecting and helping people. First figure out who you are really ATTRACTED to. You can't say you're bisexual unless you have been with both, right? So just try some stuf out.

Why not try out getting to know both girls & guys You don't have to have any kind of romantic or close relationship unless it forms on itself. Even if you see no attraction, you could make some good friendships. I am asexual myself, but I can't tell anybody yet because they would all say I'm too young to know. They don't even know asexuality is & my family expects me to get married when I grow up, which I guess I could do, just not to have kids, since I have no interest in sex >>
You could be just curious, as I said just try getting to know some of both girls & guys. I have seen some pretty girls and felt attraction myself, just not sexually. Same with guys. I would suggest just getting to know some people and have fun with life in the process. You have only one life and there's no time to worry about sexual orientation all the time.
