I don't know WHY I do it, but:
Whenever I brush my teeth, I end up INTENTIONALLY cutting open alot of the flesh arond my teeth, sometimes even with other stuff then my toothbrush.
I like seeing the blood come out even though it hurts like hell, it hurts in a weird kind of way, lik I dont really mind it.
:confused::confused::confused:
I do not hate myself or anything....
I honestly don't know why I do this.
I am not too concerned. Should I be?
(I am not unhappy.depressed/whatever)
:confused::what:

I know that feeling. Something about the nerves in your mouth just gives sort of a weird sensation rather than normal pain. I don't know if you should be concerned, but I'd definitely recommend trying to stop.

that's normal to bleed a little when u brush but if it's ALOT of blood then there might be some self harm there but whatever u do don't cut u might not start with bad self esteem but in then end it make u feel terrible just sayin

Some people may consider this self harm, and in a way it is. I know what it's like to love pain, and I mean love it, just try and keep the bleeding at a minimal, and don't let it progress into something worse.

I've cut my tongue with a razor and I still can't taste things properly on that part. But never while brushing my teeth. I don't even know HOW TO make my gums bleed, they usually just do. It doesn't hurt or anything though.
