Is it possible for genetics to affect how horny you feel? My real dad is /was a very horny guy and still is and I'm worried that I'll be like him in that perspective.

No genetics has nothing to do with how horny you are. Thats chemical levels in the brain

I'm not a dr, but isn't it possible that genetics can possibly cause someone to produce a higher level of whatever chemical makes you feel horny, in a similar way that genetics can cause someone to have higher cholesterol or diabetes? i'm not saying this is right, but it's just a thought...

Ummm. Those chemical levels i think you're referring to are hormonal levels. And Hormones such as testosterone (responsible for libido or sex drive) are in fact genetically passed down. Although there are external factors that may play a role in this, it is still genetic.

Yep, you're spot on!. I study human biology and right now genetics and epigenetics, and how the children are passed on genes from parents.
Good work! :) Nice to see there are some smart people here!!

Yes, gene are inherited from your chromosomes. Certain genes on your chromosomes will be for hormones such as testosterone etc. Testosterone is responsible for the male sex drive. That being said horniness is genetic.
It's just people learn to not show it and be more mature later on in life.

I'd say it can be a combination of genetics and environmental factors as I doubt it's based on genes alone.

hahah everyone gets horny, part of life. can't see it having anything to do with genetics, not directly anyway.
