Hey Lenka, sure you can masturbate when you are on your period, also in your room. Do you use tampons, because with them it is a bit cleaner. But I would so or so say you lay a towel under you, so if there comes a bit blood out it will not mess your bed. Just wash later the towel with cold water. Be sure you washed your hands before you start to masturbate. You can rub your clit or whatever you like to do. Ok I would not stick something in your vagina, specialy if you use tampons. Lanka, there was recently another thread about this and all seem to think it is fine and normal. Not all do it but no one think it strange.

I do this myself so no worries. It might cause some mess but other then that you will be fine. :)
