Just wondering, because I've been wondering about it for a while & learned a few months ago I was Asexual. Since it is an orientation, and I am capable of a romantic relationship with that one special someone, is it technically part of LGBT? I mean, from what I've heard its kind of rare, but I've been thinking it still has its place. What do y'all think?

Yes, because Asexuality is still an orientation. Instead of focusing on SEXUAL orientations, asexuals would focus on ROMANTIC orientations, like heteromantic, homoromantic, or biromantic.

I wonder... if the LGBT is for sexuality why isn't Heterosexuality in it?

I've heard LGBTQ, and asexuality would fall under the "Q" category, so yes. The "Q" encompasses everything else, basically, so I've been told.

It's because LGBTQ is for the minority sexualities, where as heterosexuality is the predominant sexuality in our world.

Yes! We're a minority sexuality and aces, particularly those of us who aren't heteroromantic, have a place in the LGBTQ community.

The whole point of LGBT is to band together as sexual minorities, so i don't see why they should be excluded.
