I've played the heck out of this game. It's a normal business sim, but you're a game developer this time. You travel back to the age of the battle of the g64 (C64 irl) and the PC. You then progress through the various console generations and during the end, you might even get the chance to make your own console to compete with the PS4 and "mBox Next," as the game calls it.

When making games, you get to focus on every aspect, from the Graphics to World Design. From Gameplay to Stories and Quests. It's awesome!

I suggest you pick this up today at greenheartgames.com. They have a free demo, and the full game for $8 USD. Or torrent it, if you're into that sort of thing.

Funny timing - I just recommended Game Dev Story earlier today (in my diary), which sounds like its pretty much the same thing only on a mobile platform (maybe not as in depth). I love games like this.

I read an article about this game a month ago on GameSpot. It was all about dealing with pirates in-game. Turns out that if you torrent the game, your company will go bankrupt because of the pirates. That's the best anti-piracy measure I've ever seen. :P

It's been on my list ever since, but I don't really have the time to play a Tycoon game right now. I'll get it eventually, though.

It's amazing! A great game to play and it wastes a lot of time witch is good, you get quite addicted to everything and i love how you can choose what genre the game is etc... Would recommend it to anyone :)
